CosmosGreen is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Media, documentation and Communications Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing and management, who is proficient in creating engaging content and has excellent writing skills. As a Social Media and Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting our mission and engaging with our audience through various communication channels.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and reach.
2. Manage and maintain social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
3. Create compelling and shareable content for social media channels, including posts, graphics, videos, and infographics.
4. Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
5. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful conversations.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and create relevant content for newsletters, blogs, and other communication channels.
7. Write, edit, and proofread content for newsletters, blogs, website pages, press releases, and other marketing materials.
8. Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including writing engaging newsletters and managing subscriber lists.
9. Monitor and analyze social media and website analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
10.Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices and propose innovative strategies to enhance our online presence.
11.Support other marketing and communication initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
1. 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing and management, preferably in the sustainability, agriculture, or environmental sectors.
2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media campaigns across various platforms.
3. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content for different audiences.
4. Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools.
5. Knowledge of email marketing platforms and experience in writing newsletters and managing subscriber lists.
6. Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative ideas.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10.Passion for sustainability, agriculture, and making a positive impact on the environment.
11.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
